I can't let go But I can't hold on any longer
I know I promised to type out a blog post about about orienteering. But I didn't do it yesterday because I was tired. Anyways.
Orienteering was fun/epic/hilarious/tiring. WE GOT SECOND I AM SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS (AB4 orienteering team) :D. I'm high on that WE DID IT WE DIDN'T DIE feeling you should know what I mean! Oh and thanks to those people who wished us good luck and everything (however that just served to make me even more nervous, but it's just me I guess). I changed in class instead of 212 and attempted to remember how to put on my uniform and panicked with Louise (the freeloader tsk) and Yi Xuan.
Went down to find platoonmates and then we went canteen. THEN WE REALIZED THERE WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION AND THE BUS ALREADY LEFT AT 11.20 WHICH IS o_o. And then we waited for the bus and silently panicked.
Reached HQ and got split from the reserve, meh. Screw my flu. And then theory test was weird because they asked the question about mils and THANK GODS I STUDIED ABOUT IT. Then we had some weird briefing thing then map checking (we are awesome at finding stuff on the map!) THEN THE ACTUAL THING ITSELF. We ran a lot and crashed through grass that was super high and lallang that was taller than SHERMAINE. And *ahemahemyouknowwhoyouare* fell face first a few times. Oh yeah then while we making our way to the fenced area some random guys team told us to RELAX and SLOW DOWN and then we just sped off past them and Shermaine shouted SHUT UP to them as she passed LOL.
Then back to end point that time too tired cannot run the whole way, I think we just brisked walked like most of the time because we all had blisters. And then last part Shermaine and I were like 'screw the blisters, I'm going to run' then we just dashed to the finish line. And we made it in 33 minutes which is apparently quite good and WE WERE FASTER THAN THE LANDERS. Michelle collapsed at the end and then I felt like dying too and we slacked around on the grass because we were that tired that we didn't want to move.
Waited for two hours for the results, then we became so bored/random. A few people slept and I went to fold a lot of paper butterflies. AND OMG QUEK RUITONG I WASN'T THE ONE WHO KEPT THROWING IT AT YOU. IT WAS SHERMAINE. REALLY.
Results was very cool! We were like sitting there and then figured that we're the only girls unit in Air district so if they say AIR DISTRICT that means we got it. And then the emcee was like SECOND PLACE, FROM AIR DISTRICT... and then that was all I heard because I was that happy OMG. And then Xiao Yun actually wanted us to get first and get the shield for the school. Michelle says the school can look at 'shield volcanoes' instead. That's very academic-ish.
