RG Open House 09! and other stuff
I am so absolutely awesome hence I shall blog in chronological order. Then you'll find me even more awesome. x)
THIS IS MY SEVENTEENTH BLOG POST! Therefore I shall dedicate this post to anyone who likes the number seventeen.
Before we start talking about anything in particular, let me get this across.
NO I DO NOT RANDOMLY HELP TO RUN ERRANDS OK. DON'T ASK ME TO RUN RANDOM ERRANDS ANYMORE. I AM NOT KIDDING.
Anyway. RGS OPEN HOUSE '09!
I reached at around eight. Then we used the class computer and played PINBALL. We as in Joelle Chong and Kwang Lin and me. Then we went to walk around and go to our booths.
I helped out at the CLE and Bio booths. CLE in the morning and Bio in the afternoon.
I only helped out at the CLE booth for like half an hour, which was like NO ONE AT ALL. Yeah. So basically we just slacked. I chatted with Suzanne and Ashlynna, because the PB and PSB boards were right beside the CLE ones. So.
And then it was house cheers at the amphi. My throat still hurts now.
THEN MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE DAY - LUNCH! We ate lunch in CLASS. Which means we literally broke school rules. x) I love breaking school rules.
Then we had MORE cheers. This time in the hall. I don't know why I keep on spotting random NCC people/seniors around the entire place.
Then we went back to class. WHICH MEANS AIRCON. THE GALLERY WAS SO FREAKING STUFFY.
Went down to the canteen for dessert! Met Rui Tong. Went to Koi Pond area together.
Saw Jennifer (actually she saw me first). She went like "Ooh Shermine! Look at that!"
Yeah. And dragged me to a random booth. I looked up at the person manning the booth. And then looked down at the "jelly". And then looked up again and went like "Oh. Hi Rebecca." Bluh it was so freaking funny. And then ran some errands for her (eg getting more toilet paper from the E block and fishing out little bits of "jelly").
And then it was Bio booth time! But before that Ka Ying and I went randomly to the Chem booths. It was kind of cool.
I got paired up with Wenxin for Bio booth and Hui Min and Ka Ying went around "stalking" people a.k.a. dragging them to our booth.
Then I saw Cheryl. Cheryl like our infocomm vice chair. At the same booth that Rebecca was like about 1 hour ago (I think).
AND THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN.
It's not like I'm stalking my seniors or anything, but WHY WHY WHY do I keep on seeing them?
ANYWAYS.
Wenxin and I had parents asking us questions like: "Are you Sec 2?" And then when we said no they were like "Huh?" I swear, they would have said WTF if they could. Bluh.
Yeah. And then it was the end of the Open House. It ended at four. I was there from eight to four. Then we went to help to put the stuff back and give the organisms back to their "rightful owners". Note the quotation marks.
Cheryl was helping out "for fun". Or so she says.
And then I left school at around 4.30 to 4.45.
Met Suzanne on the bus. Went home.
Half did blog post.
24th May 2009
Continued blog post.
Went to grandmother's house.

I SWEAR THIS IS WEIGHING ON MY CONSCIENCE BUT I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED YET!
Anyway. Can't wait for Monday. WE HAVE NCC!
I just realized I'm starting to like NCC.
Like at first I honestly didn't like it. (Please don't tell me the seniors are reading this.)
But now I actually look forward to it. Like an escape from normal boring class time. AND PHILO. AND PIANO PRACTICES.
The only bad thing about it is that I have CCA on Wednesday. Which is basically slack day. We don't even have a single "academic" subject, so to speak. But NCC ruins the day. And we don't get to go home early.
ACK I JUST REALIZED I'M DEVIATING FROM THE TOPIC AT HAND A.K.A. OPEN HOUSE.
Whatever. I need to CHIONG PHILO AA.
P.S. I found my philo article for the AA! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! (And thank god[dess].)

WHOO AWESOME ME :D
ohkay i haven't updated in a month. oops D: sorry people [but no one even reads my blog so why am i apologizing?!]
NCC DAY IS ON 1st JULY OHNO IT'S RIGHT AFTER CAMP FEAST.
Which really isn't helping.
Our No. 3 might still be in the wash!
so now i shall blog in [hopefully] backwards chronological order. if i remember, that is.
i shall start from today!
Bluh we practiced for NCC DAY! which means salutes and a different keluar baris D:
AND we needed to do other random stuff like stand there absolutely still (no adjusting!) for 10 - 20 minutes coz of a SPEECH. ><>
We did company drills today. Amanda and Celeste and Tiffany were the I/Cs. A few funny incidents:
Celeste: Is she [a.k.a. me] taller than Cheryl [a Part D]?
Tiffany: Let me see.
Amanda: I think so.
Tiffany: No her [me again] hair is just taller than Cheryl's.
Then the entire company heard and started laughing.
Amanda: I think same height.
Another incident:
Celeste: Wait I thought she [me again!] was standing to the right of the Part B?
Tiffany: Move her to the right.
Just to make a few things clear, they don't even know my name. So they say "she". Bluh.
And another one!
Amanda: I thought she was over there?
Tiffany: Yah how come suddenly change position?
Celeste: Move her to the right.
Tiffany: Who cares anyway they're going to label "satu" and "dua".
Haha :)
Apparently I shall state some random order of height.
Hui Yi is the tallest.
Then Stephania.
Then Kathryn.
Then Rebecca.
Then Ee Wen.
Then Jaslyn.
Then that's all I can remember.
and Vivian is like the tallest Part A.
and then Vivian's angel is Vivian who is also in NCC Air.
so everytime we do "yang thingy" with the Part Bs Vivian ends up marching beside Vivian. LOL
then on monday which is like the 18th
Anne's birthday!
Alanna's birthday!
Yeah it was just after our camp :) which was on friday (15th) to sunday (17th)
So now i shall talk about the camp
It sucked. get this clear: IT ABSOLUTELY SUCKED
17th May:
We did company drills.
First time doing. It was honestly damn fun.
THEN WERE DISMISSED EARLY WHOO :)
Jaslyn and Hui Yi were like:
Jaslyn: You want to do water cheer?
Hui Yi: Anything.
Jaslyn (to us): You want to do water cheer?
Us: No staff.
Hui Yi: Part As answer properly!
Us: No staff.
Then they turned around and started giggling. Then Jaslyn asked us again.
Us: No staff.
Hui Yi: You're supposed to say yes.
Us: Then why do you even ask us?
People start laughing here.
Jaslyn: Anyway do you know how to do or not?
Us: No.
Jaslyn: Forget it then.
every 2nd and 3rd sergeant got promoted to 1st sergeant.
they were like marching really weirdly.
like even the Part Bs were commenting on how they swung up their arms REALLY HIGH.
which means more than 90 degrees.
which means WEIRD.
and Ms Ha was the only person not wearing formal attire.
LOL it looked so funny!
16th May:
LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of tests.
including:
IFC practical
IFC theory
Total Defence test
Air Syllabus
General NCC knowledge
You know what? The total defence and the general NCC knowledge was SO LAME.
it went like:
"1)List the 5 aspects of total defence:
a)_________
b)_________
c)_________
d)_________
e)_________
2)Give examples of the 5 aspects? or something like that.
a) military
___________________
b) social
___________________
c) civil
___________________
d) economic
___________________
e) psychological
___________________"
Like can you believe it?
They asked the question and like practically gave us the answers.
and then for the General NCC knowledge thing it was crazily stupid lah.
like:
"When was NCC setup?"
and the answer was like on our water bottles!
So i shall continue.
15th May:
BUNK INSPECTION.
WE SPENT 2 FREAKING HOURS ON IT
amanda and tiffany and jaslyn and hui yi were busy scolding us for our horrible bunks which was, in fact, the freaking 206 classroom. and it was way dirty D: CRAP 206!
they made us clean it for them like the OHP which had YEARS and LAYERS of dirt on it.
And it was like they made us do about 50 to 60 pushups just because of it?! now we still owe them about 300++ pushups. including those today. which is about 50 today that is. because of NAPFA.
TEST PAPERS RESULTS!
BIO: 49/60 which is 81 two-third %
yeah that's the only one i can remember. so.
know what? the last post on our NCC Air blog is a cheer "training to be soldiers". posted by celeste. yes we actually have a freaking BLOG?! that's probably what you're thinking right now.
YES EXAMS ARE OVER!
CAN WATCH TV AND USE COMPUTER [FREELY]!
even though i do those during exam period anyway.
