Have to catch another train, got to be to work by nine
And if I had an aeroplane I still couldn't make it on time
But I can't be late 'cause then I guess I just won't get paid
These are the days when you wish your bed was already made
So, this week was strange.
Strange, in a rather good way (ohmygoodness I think I'm completely masochistic why am I happy over projects?) which is to say that this week has been relatively better than many others.
Anyway.
Monday. I was very happy. I mean, training was fun. Awesome. Whatever. I mean, other than the panic attacks for like SHOOT DO YOU HAVE SUPERGLUE DO YOU HAVE PLIERS thing it was absolutely.
Fantastic. I loved my boots. I loved, well,
some of our drills. And I absolutely loved yang tinggi. Even though I kind of screwed it up (hey, I didn't know of the changes, did I) it was still fun. And omg PT was awesome. OIAJERLTNAJFEIOGNY I LOVE RUNNING WITH PLATOON GOSH :D. But sad thing is that I'll be running alone for 2.4 because I don't pace people in my class and also I'll have no motivation, so yeah. And after PT we were demonstrating hentak cheer to Part As and when we sedia it was something close to a perfect bang. And after we fell out we were like OMG ONE BANG AHHAAHHAHAHAHH and we kind of. Got high. Maybe it was because we weren't wearing boots or something, but still. *Is proud of self*
Other days were pretty mundane, except for the fact that infocomm was epic. I think more than half our batch wasn't there, and I know for one that the Sec 1s weren't there (were they?) and Vivianna wasn't there (thank god, her creepiness was starting to get to me). So basically we all sat around and yeah it was great. Because we did random things, which, I guess, made me know my juniors a little better. Not that I don't already know them well, but I don't really know, I don't know, Joanne well, do I? So it was good too.
And then on Friday, I learnt that inconvo is more-or-less postponed to 13th May (i.e. ATC first day), which means that Mr Chew will ask Mr Chia if I can skip about two hours of ATC or so. Which implies that I don't have to do outdoor cooking. I think. Or it means that I don't need to, um, do some stuff, I think drills. I don't know? Because it's from five to seven, and I don't have the schedule, do I?
During SS (Mr Chew wasn't there, I don't know why), I sat down and used Sristi's laptop to write my commonwealth essay, which was rather productive, and I had rather good feedback. Which is good. Which means that I am writing for Class A, because it means that I have an extra 200 words to work with. Which is good, again. And I found out that I passed Bio,
JOY TO THE WORLD! Well, I think I passed SS. Think.
And yesterday we had SJChO, which was completely. Ew. I answered all the questions, but I'm pretty sure I got a positive score because I
know I had at least ten questions correct, hurhur. Which is good. Therefore I am rather. Happy, I guess.
Also, listening to Belinda Carlisle (ahem, Do You Feel Like I Feel), the Bangles (Complicated Girl, Glitter Years, Some Dreams Come True, Angels Don't Fall In Love) and a variety of other songs (Sad Sweet Dreamer, Forever Young, Keeping the Dream Alive, etc.) is making me high. Oh, and I did I mention! Before infocomm on Thursday, I went out with Hui Min to eat at Far East, and we went to KFC. And when we sat down they their radio station (Class 95) started playing Heaven is a Place on Earth and I became ridiculously happy AGAIN HAHAHHAHAA.
My week has been pretty damn wonderful indeed.
