What's the way to love someone?
Okay, so long overdue post on ATC. I feel kind of... fake somehow, talking about it.
But look, we survived it! It's our last official bunk cleaning and
we totally owned it. Come on, it was so amazing that they had nothing to pick on but
the fact that our sleeping bags weren't arranged by colour.
First day. My god, I completely screwed mutuals and tests because I had completely no time to mug, but I passed anyway. Surprise. And I screwed mutuals because I lost my voice and if I tried to vary my pitch you'd hear nothing at all, isn't that just nasty. I was so annoyed because I had about less than five minutes to eat
and wash and yes, I do have every right to be annoyed. Oh, and we arranged the tables in the bunk while we were supposed to be putting our bags away and neatly and yeah you know what I mean! (Also why is our light out earlier than the part A's
THAT MAKES NO SENSE.)
Then second day NDP you know what? I love NDP so much and I love the people and
everything. But hey I didn't see Esabella I wanted to give her my peas. ):, I am sad. Honestly, we should go out with the SCGS/Orchid Park people after NDP one day for dinner. I love the new army rations forever. Then interviews were just weird and strange and bizarrely hilarious
I have no idea why.
Toilet cleaning was ridiculously
fun and
epic. Yes staff you should be laughing (because guess what you heard xiaoyun call you huixian!) and crying (because our extreme toilet/toilet landing cleaning actions are so pathetic and
deplorable even I want to cry at that haha, but still it's the cleanest the toilet's probably ever been) at the same time! Yes, we can all be professional toilet cleaners. As long as they don't have, like,
tsunami ezlink cards ._. and also we totally used a whole dustbin full of toilet paper. Harsh indeed. AND HAHAH XIAOYUN RUNNING UP AND DOWN AND SPRAYING DEO. :D
And oh
gosh sergeant wearing her beret backwards.
I think this year's ATC has been one of the best so far and it's been so meaningful and memorable and
hilarious, I wouldn't want to swap the memory for any other. But honestly it's been epic and fun and the few hours we spent together as platoonmates just talking and thinking and discussing and advising and
everything just made it better didn't it? (And yes, if you ever see this Michelle [Khoo], you are unique too!)
So yes I love you guys (and I don't even generally use the word 'love'!) and honestly even though there were things that were left unsaid/did not need to be said/completely screwed up but not cared about anyway I think we have been absolutely amazing this year and believe it or not
we are more.
Oh, and I liked this image so much I just had to use it as my wallpaper, much to my sister's chagrin. Which is saying much, because she's wearing pink/it is bright and gay and well, at least my mother won't complain about "depressive black wallpapers" now.
