美事还未发生 冬天已渐近
Screw the GOH today. And to say she made her speech "short".
And the head prefects, for not letting us senangdiri before they invited Mrs Hoo up to present the ND message. Really, they can do that since they're not the ones standing there. For fifteen minutes or so. In the same position. Without moving.
We almost collapsed. I don't even know what the GOH said at all. I think we were all too busy telling ourselves to not drop like flies. Louise and Jal (both of who were in my line of sight) were swaying dangerously. Like, about to fall over kind of dangerously. Tian Ling (who was to my left) stumbled and I think almost keeled over.
...as a matter of fact, I think a lot of people in the supporting contingent keeled over (because they were in the sun more than us, I think?) and had to be forcibly dragged out by the teachers. People like Leyin.
And actually I don't know, but I think I was swaying pretty violently towards the end of the GOH's speech too.
Ugh, I feel disgusted at how it turned out now.
