I fought the law and the law won
I think it's very weird, but the one thing we've learnt from being... together in this? for so long is 淡定. It's a term I can't seem to translate. Because, we all know what will be will be, and in our hearts there is this one story where the main character is irreplaceable, because that's the way it is, and that's life, and we'll keep on waiting. Everything else is, as they say, water under the bridge. All water under the bridge. In the end, it all just manages to get there. Somehow, somewhere, sometime.
Oh, and the other thing is how to take everything as it is and because I can't think of a way to phrase it, 欣然. I think it's wonderfully fitting and appropriate and even if ten, fifteen years down the road we're going to forget this and each other, it's still going to be a takeaway, and what we've learnt through this eight year long journey is going to stay with us through our lives. All of us. Even if in different ways.
So what I've learnt basically equates to: take everything as it is, wait and be patient, celebrate every little step, and when it finally does come, appreciate it.
