I listen to the radio, All the songs we used to know
Begin the day with a friendly voice, a companion unobtrusive
Plays that song that's so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning mood.
Off on your way, hit the open road
There is magic at your fingers
For the spirit ever lingers -
Undemanding contact in your happy solitude
Invisible airwaves crackle with life
Bright antenae bristle with the energy
Emotional feedback, on timeless wavelength
Bearing a gift beyond price - almost free
All this machinery making modern music
Can still be open-hearted
Not so coldly charted; it's really just a question of your honesty.
One likes to believe in the freedom of music
But glittering prizes and endless compromises shatter the illusion of integrity
Invisible airwaves crackle with life
Bright antenae bristle with the energy
Emotional feedback, on timeless wavelength
Bearing a gift beyond price - almost free
"For the words of the profits were written on the studio wall and concert hall
And echoes with the sound of salesmen."
Today, was epic. Because. I was chatting with this guy (or girl, I don't know) on omegle about marvel comics.
And he/she went like "Do you read X-Men?" So I told him/her yes, and asked which was his/her favourite story arc, and his/her favourite characters.
And he/she told me Wolvie, Scott and Betsy, and they loved the Planet X storyline. It was pretty amusing because, really, Wolvie, Scott and Betsy? They're all so different! And then they asked me the same questions, so I said Emma, Ororo and Raven Darkholme, plus I think the Phoenix story arcs and Divided We Stand are good. So this person was like, Emma, Ororo, and Mystique?! And I went "yup." Gosh, it was so funny when it actually happened. I'm a terrible narrator.
And yes, ruitong, you should never say anything you don't mean in front of me. Or behind, for that matter.
ALSO, ZOO ANIMALS ♥♥. And yes, I do have a reason for saying that.
As a footnote for staff if you're reading this (I have reason to think that you are, by the way), THEY SAID IT WAS CATERPILLAR CRAWL, AND NEVER MENTIONED WORM. ._. But anyway the point is that even if it is phased out, it still did/does exist. JEEZ.
